Far too often I see people get sold on a business opportunity presentation and jump in before they really take the time to learn what is actually working in the industry right now. This is why you see so many people online today spamming their business opportunities because they assume this is what you are supposed to do because they see everyone else doing this.

So how do you recruit at the push of a button? One word, RELATIONSHIPS! If you currently have an email list of people that you are emailing to, this has to be your primary focus. An effective strategy for incorporating this method is to follow the 80/20 rule. That is 80% of the time you should be focussing on providing your prospects with value and 20% of the time asking for something in return.

Think of it this way, in any relationship there is always a give and a take. If your focus is simply on giving as much as you possibly can, don’t you think it would be easy to ask for something in return? If you really embody this and focus on building relationships, you can build a downline as big as you want.
